Pride lifted every head and humility filled each heart as Nath Valley School celebrated its 19th Foundation Day on the 29th of June 2011.

The function was graced by the chief guest Mr Mukund Bhogale the chairman of board of governor’s, chairman of the trust , treasurer ,president of CMI, M.D of Nirlep industries and most of all a proud parent of two of the industrious alumni of NVS.

Principal Mr. Ranjit Dass welcomed the chief guest and congratulated everyone for the success of the school over the past 19 years. Mr. Dass pointed out that the school focuses not only on academics but also the all round development of a child which in the process teaches you team work, care for others and honesty making you proud citizens of the country. He appreciated the unstinting effort of the teachers and parents for the success of the school.

Mr Bhogale said that the school owes its success to the dreams and visions of Mr V. Ramchandani, Mrs Bajaj and Mr Dass. He asked the students to prepare a solid ground of rational and logical thinking along with academics as this will help them lead a successful life. “Focus on what exams is supposed to measure and be prepared accordingly” was his mantra. At NVS, extracurricular and academic go hand in hand thus filling in the gaps wherever required and making you better human beings of the society.

The occasion was marked by the recognition of the excellence achieved by the meritorious students of Std XII and X. Mementoes were presented to them by Mr Bhogale.

The programme ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Mohandas and a song by the students of Std Vi and VII ‘ HOLD MY HAND’.
