NVS CELEBRATES 17TH FOUNDATION DAY
On 29 June Nath Valley School celebrated its 17th Foundation Day. The
programme began with a prayer, followed by Principal Mr. Ranjit Dass’
welcome address. He then introduced the Chief Guest, Police
Commissioner of Aurangabad, K.R. Bishnoi to the gathering. Mr. Dass
also welcomed him as a member of the Trust by virtue of being very
closely associated with Police Public School. He had special words of
praise for Shweta Bhogale, the ex School captain and Pratik Panghal, a
student Leader for breaking the previous academic records. He
congratulated the other merit holders, 42 from class X and 15 from
class XII. He expressed with pride, the state of the art Media and
technology centre presently under construction. He felt sure that the
light that the seniors have handed over to their juniors will be taken
to greater heights.
The Chief Guest, then lauded the school for the steady progress it has
made towards turning out not only good students but also good citizens
aware of their social responsibilities towards the country and the
environment.
Mr. Mukund Bhogale, a trustee, conveyed his greetings to all. He
recalled the trials and tribulations of the initial years and how NVS
has flourished at the hands of an able Principal and committed
teachers.
The English choir group next belted out I Have a Dream and the dancers
did a foot tapping Dil Hai Chotasa.
A talk on environment and the student vs alumni basketball match also
marked the occasion in the Secondary section. The Primary Section
planted a friendship tree and had an interactive session with their
Welsh partner school. They took the pledge of planting a tree every
year on the occasion of Foundation Day. The tree will be tended by
Class I. The Recycle Club has pledged to stop the use of plastic and
make recycled paper bags.
