NVS CELEBRATES 17TH FOUNDATION DAY

On 29 June Nath Valley School celebrated its 17th Foundation Day. The programme began with a prayer, followed by Principal Mr. Ranjit Dass’ welcome address. He then introduced the Chief Guest, Police Commissioner of Aurangabad, K.R. Bishnoi to the gathering. Mr. Dass also welcomed him as a member of the Trust by virtue of being very closely associated with Police Public School. He had special words of praise for Shweta Bhogale, the ex School captain and Pratik Panghal, a student Leader for breaking the previous academic records. He congratulated the other merit holders, 42 from class X and 15 from class XII. He expressed with pride, the state of the art Media and technology centre presently under construction. He felt sure that the light that the seniors have handed over to their juniors will be taken to greater heights.

The Chief Guest, then lauded the school for the steady progress it has made towards turning out not only good students but also good citizens aware of their social responsibilities towards the country and the environment.

Mr. Mukund Bhogale, a trustee, conveyed his greetings to all. He recalled the trials and tribulations of the initial years and how NVS has flourished at the hands of an able Principal and committed teachers.

The English choir group next belted out I Have a Dream and the dancers did a foot tapping Dil Hai Chotasa.

A talk on environment and the student vs alumni basketball match also marked the occasion in the Secondary section. The Primary Section planted a friendship tree and had an interactive session with their Welsh partner school. They took the pledge of planting a tree every year on the occasion of Foundation Day. The tree will be tended by Class I. The Recycle Club has pledged to stop the use of plastic and make recycled paper bags.
